Program condition guide

This program condition guide is strictly for Green Bay Packers football game programs from 1925 to 1949. These programs are old, and one should be thrilled to own these old programs in almost any condition.

We believe a 1925 to 1949 game program in Excellent condition must have both covers and all pages fully present, and the front cover (most important), back cover and all pages should exhibit little to no creasing, tearing, wear, cover or page toning, writing, dog eared corners, moisture spots, staining or fading. The center page must be intact and tight with rust free staples. A spline split of 1/8" or less is acceptable. Player and coach autographs don't constitute writing on the program.

Please note: Near mint 1920's programs are rare. Most 1925 to 1939 game programs will have several or even many of the condition faults listed above. Programs exhibiting several or many of the condition challenges above will most likely grade no higher than Good/Very Good. However, a program exhibiting a few of the condition challenges above can still grade Excellent depending on the severity of the few condition faults.

A program missing a full page or major part thereof can grade no higher than Poor/Fair. A program missing the cover really only has sentimental value.

Price guide $Value scale
Poor/Fair Good/VG Excellent Near Mint
25 - 40% 60 - 75% 100% 125 - 150%

The percentages under the condition are the value of that condition compared to the Excellent condition value we list in our price guide. If we list a program value of $ 100, that same program would be worth $ 25 - $40 in Poor/Fair condition, $60 to $75 in Good/VG condition, and $ 125 to $150 in near mint condition.
